Express Scripts® Pharmacy Benefit Services is your new pharmacy benefit manager
At Gravie, we want to make managing your prescriptions easy and affordable. That’s why beginning January 1, 2026, we’re partnering with Express ScriptsⓇ to handle all of your prescription benefits, including mail-order and pharmacy network management.
Most Gravie members won’t notice any big changes, but here are a few things to know to make sure your prescriptions continue without any interruptions.

What’s changing?
- You’ll get your prescription benefits, including mail-order and pharmacy network management, through Express Scripts.
- If you receive specialty medications, Accredo will become your new specialty pharmacy.
- SaveOnSP will manage co-pay assistance for eligible specialty medications (replacing PrudentRx). Please note that members on HSA-compatible plans will not have access to SaveOnSP.

Important information about your pharmacy network
Your retail pharmacy network through Express Scripts gives Gravie members access to a nationwide network of pharmacies, including major chains, grocery stores, and independent pharmacies, so you can fill prescriptions quickly and conveniently. As part of this network, you can choose to include either CVS or Walgreens. The pharmacy you do not choose will be considered out of network. Each member of your household can select their own preferred pharmacy network.
Important to know: No matter which network you’re assigned to, you can still use all other pharmacies in-network with Express Scripts. You are not limited to CVS or Walgreens unless you choose to use them.
Every member is assigned to one of these networks, and you can review or change your assignment by calling Express Scripts 24/7 at 877-608-0355.

How your network is assigned
If you are a new Gravie member:
- You and your dependents will be automatically assigned to the Walgreens retail pharmacy network. This means that Walgreens and other participating Express Scripts pharmacies will be in-network.
- CVS pharmacies will be out of network unless you choose to make a switch.
- You are not required to use Walgreens. You may continue using any other participating in-network pharmacy with Express Scripts.
If you are an existing Gravie member:
- If you or a covered family member filled a prescription in the last 6 months, your network is assigned based on prescription history (CVS or Walgreens).
- If no prescriptions were filled in the last 6 months, you will be assigned to the Walgreens retail pharmacy network.
How do I view or change my retail pharmacy network?
Starting January 1, 2026:
- We recommend checking your assignment to make sure your preferred pharmacy is in network. You can view or change your pharmacy preference once per calendar year in one of these ways:
- Online: Log in to your Gravie member account at member.gravie.com or through the Gravie App. Go to Pharmacy, then in your Express Scripts account select: Account → Pharmacy Preferences → View Options → Change Selection
- By phone: Call Express Scripts toll-free number at 877.608.0355, 24/7.
- You may also be able to make an additional change if you experience a qualifying life event, such as moving.
- If you are happy with your current pharmacy network assignment, no action is needed.

What should I expect beginning January 1, 2026?
- You can begin using Express Scripts for your prescriptions.
- Specialty medications can be filled through Accredo, and co-pay assistance (if eligible) will be managed by SaveOnSP (only available to members on non-HSA plans).
- New digital ID cards will be available in the Gravie app and portal starting January 1, 2026.
- Physical member ID cards will also be mailed to you at the beginning of December. (But, don’t start using them until January 1, 2026!)
- Most prescriptions will carry over automatically, but some may need new prescriptions due to state or formulary rules.
- Mail-order refills will move over automatically (except most controlled substances). You’ll need to re-set your payment and auto-refill options with Express Scripts once refills run out.
- Any active prior authorizations will transfer and remain valid through their end date unless the medication isn’t covered by Express Scripts. If that happens, we’ll mail you any next steps.
