Press Release: Gravie Adding Medicare Products to its Marketplace
(MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 2, 2017) Gravie, provider of a reinvented health benefits marketplace, announced today that it has acquired the Breitenfeldt Group, one of the largest Medicare brokerages in Minnesota.
Gravie has continuously added products to its benefits marketplace since the company was founded in 2013. Its offerings include health insurance, dental insurance, supplemental medical insurance, life insurance, health savings accounts, and now with the acquisition of Breitenfeldt—Medicare products.
“People over the age of 65 comprise the fastest growing segment of the population and the labor market,” said Abir Sen, Gravie CEO and co-founder. “With this acquisition Gravie now has the capability to serve all individuals regardless of age, and also provide solutions to employers looking for affordable ways to provide coverage to their retirees and pre-retirees.”
Dennis Breitenfeldt, founder and CEO of the Breitenfeldt Group, joins Gravie as Vice President of Medicare. “I am excited to join the team at Gravie. Gravie plans to keep all six Breitenfeldt offices open, including their headquarters in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
Gravie customers will be able to take advantage of the expanded set of products immediately, which include Medicare Cost and Medicare Advantage plans.
