Gravie Launches Value-Based Network in Minnesota

Partnership with XO Health will help employers reduce costs, expedite provider payments
(MINNEAPOLIS, April 14, 2025) – Gravie, the health benefits company reimagining health plans for small and midsize businesses, has entered into an agreement with XO Health to create a first-of its-kind value- based arrangement platform in Minnesota. The exclusive network, which will go live as soon as October, will welcome Minnesota’s top providers who agree that aligning payments to patient outcomes will reduce costs and improve care.
In addition to priority access to Gravie’s members and incentive-based payments, providers participating in the new network will also benefit from streamlined prior authorizations, simplified and fast patient cost share collections, access to cost and quality data to help guide care decisions, and a modern provider portal for plan information and communication.
“With no alternative payment method in place in Minnesota, prices for care have continued to increase despite there being no mechanism to measure clinical outcomes. Meanwhile, the state’s small and midsize employers and their employees are shouldering the financial burden,” says Gravie CEO Steve Wolin. “With the help of XO Health, we are building a network that we believe will change the way Minnesota’s providers and employers experience care delivery and health plan administration.”
The value of the new network extends beyond providers and directly helps employers maintain a more sustainable claims payment fund. Additionally, XO Health’s rapid payment process replaces antiquated systems that require members to wait months for claims reconciliation.
XO Health, founded by industry veteran Swati Mathai, partners with providers and Fortune 500 employers nationwide to design value-based arrangements that put providers at the center of patient care. “At XO Health, we’re transforming employer health benefits in a way that truly transforms healthcare –by aligning incentives, removing administrative burden, and encouraging better outcomes,” says Mathai. “We are proud to be working with Gravie to bring our pioneering model to employers in Minnesota.”
