About Bob
Bob Danz is Gravie’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Gravie, Bob was the President and Chief Financial Officer of MyCare Medical, where he was responsible for the daily operations and financial performance of the multi-state and multi-site value-based primary care group.
Prior to MyCare Medical, Bob spent over 20 years with Optum and UnitedHealth Group. Most recently, he was the regional chief operating officer and chief financial officer of OptumCare’s Pacific Northwest region. Bob also led the region’s risk-bearing entity — providing fully-delegated and capitated services to national and local payers for over 135,000 Medicare Advantage and Medicaid lives. Earlier experience at Optum included a variety of roles in finance, operations, product management and consulting for the company’s Health and Financial Services units.
Bob began his career in public accounting. He is a certified public accountant (inactive), and has a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting from Luther College in Decorah, IA.
