Elizabeth Essex serves as Gravie’s Chief Human Resources Officer, where she leads all aspects of human resources with a passion for aligning people strategies with Gravie’s mission to innovate health benefits.
With over 15 years of HR leadership, Elizabeth has cultivated environments where employees thrive. Prior to Gravie, she significantly contributed to Oscar Health’s People Strategy, scaling the organization and supporting its IPO during a period of rapid growth. Her diverse career spans payment services, education, and health tech, where she honed expertise in executive coaching, large-scale transformations, and talent management strategies that boost engagement and organizational performance. Elizabeth leverages data-driven insights to optimize HR functions and drive superior business outcomes. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Arizona and is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, innovative workplaces that empower teams to reach their full potential.
