About Sarah
Sarah is responsible for Gravie’s legal, compliance, enterprise program management, and product management work.
Prior to joining Gravie in 2021, Sarah served as Chief Compliance Officer of Northwestern Mutual, a Fortune 100 life insurance company. In that role Sarah was responsible for all regulatory compliance operations of the company’s insurance sales organization, insurance general account, broker-dealer and OCC thrift bank. She also held senior leadership roles in corporate strategy and underwriting operations while at Northwestern Mutual. Sarah previously served as Senior Managing Director, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of B.C. Ziegler & Company, a publicly traded broker-dealer, mutual fund advisor and investment banking firm.
Sarah is Vice-Chair of the Lawrence University Board of Trustees and recently completed her service as President of the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee Jewish Day School. She previously served on the Audit & Compliance Committee of Advocate Aurora Health and the Advisory Board of the Center for Ethics in Financial Services at The American College. Sarah holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and a B.A. from Lawrence University.
