About Michael
As Chief Architect, Michael is responsible for Gravie’s technical vision and strategy. This includes determining technology stack, defining the architectural principles, and aligning technology strategy with the business needs. Michael also served as Gravie’s CTO from 2018 through 2023, scaling the technology organization through significant company revenue growth in revenue and headcount.
Prior to Gravie, Michael has been in software engineering leadership roles since 1999, including VP Software Development at Warm Health, a Minneapolis-based healthcare communications start-up, and Director of Clinical Software Development at UnitedHealth Group.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, and has also served on the board of the Guthrie Theater.
